Petar Antun Rajič (born in June, 1959) is a Croatian/Canadian prelate who is the Prefect of the Papal Household, appointed by Pope Leo XIV in 2026. He worked in the diplomatic service of the Holy See from 1993 to 2026. An archbishop since 2009, he served as Nuncio to several countries between 2009 and 2026, most recently to Italy and San Marino from 2024 to 2026. From 2019-2024 he was Nuncio to Lithuania, a post in which he was succeeded by Archbishop Georg Gänswein, his predecessor as Prefect of the Pontifical Household.
His armorial bearings traditionally impale his personal arms with the coat of arms of the Pope under whom he serves.
