Very Rev. Guy Selvester, V.F., M.Div., M.A. has been studying and working in the field of heraldic research and design for over thirty years. He is an enthusiast about all kinds of heraldry but his principal area of interest and experience is in ecclesiastical heraldry and, in particular, the heraldry of the Roman Catholic Church. Ordained to the priesthood in 1997 he currently serves as the Pastor of St. Joseph Church in Washington, New Jersey. Fr. Selvester is a Governor-At-Large of the American Heraldry Society; a Fellow and on the Board of Governors of the American College of Heraldry; a member of the NJ Catholic Historical Commission, and a member of several other heraldic societies and organizations. In 2013 he founded the Collegium Ecclesiastica Exarandorum (College of Ecclesiastical Heraldry) to promote the study and improvement of ecclesiastical heraldry.
