Sir Paul McCartney’s Coat of Arms should have a Blackbird on top, not a swallow!
Paul McCartney’s coat of arms doesn’t have a swallow on it. Rather it has a Cormorant, sometimes called a “Liver Bird”, the symbol of the city of Liverpool. As much as you’d like to think it’s a “blackbird” (like in the song) it isn’t. It’s a symbol of his native place not of a song.
