Today, HM King Charles III, appointed James van Someren Peill, Esq., until now Richmond Herald, (appointed last May) and formerly Bluemantle Pursuivant, (appointed in 2024) to the office of Garter Principal King of Arms, after the retirement of Sir David White, KCVO.
