What is this? “A pall inverted azure semy of squiggles”?
This blazon says: “De gueules à deux rivières d’azur, agitées de sable, réunies en forme de pairle renversé, accompagné à dextre d’une colombe volante contournée d’argent, posée en barre, tenant dans son bec un brin d’olivier du même (colombe de Sant’Egidio), et à senestre d’une ville, autour de la cathédrale de Liège, le tout d’argent et essoré d’azur.” The reversed pall represents the confluence of two rivers Azure, “agitated” Sable.
